Educated 700+ children in grades 1-6 on healthy habits for cancer prevention. Engaged children in learning about healthful eating based on the MyPlate dietary guidelines, and encouraged physical activity.

GUACAMOLE TASTING EVENT

Drexel University

Functioned as the Foodservice Manager, collaborating with multiple departments to successfully organize, plan, and execute a food sampling event for students and faculty.

KIDS SUPPORT

Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia

Served as a group co-facilitator. Provided a safe and relaxed space for children whose families had been affected by cancer, and encouraged children to identify and express their feelings through facilitated group discussion and activities.
